Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz. banana liqueur e.g., DeKuyper or Bols
  • 1 pinch ground ginger
  • 1 shot Ristretto coffee e.g., Illy or Lavazza
  • Whipped cream e.g., Reddi-Wip

Method
 

  1. Brew a Ristretto shot using finely ground coffee beans and an espresso machine.
  2. Mix the Banana Liqueur and Ground ginger.
  3. In a mixing glass, combine 1 oz of banana liqueur with a pinch of ground ginger. Stir well.
  4. Combine and top with whipped cream.
  5. Pour the banana-ginger mixture into the brewed Ristretto shot. Stir gently.
  6. Top with a dollop of whipped cream.

Notes

For the best flavor, use freshly ground ginger from your local organic store.
Adjust the amount of ginger to taste if you prefer a stronger or milder spicy kick.
