Method
- Brew the coffee:
- Brew a strong cup of your favorite coffee. Dark roast works best.
- Prepare the Coffee Mix:
- Add 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar to the hot coffee and stir until dissolved.
- Mix in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Add Butterscotch:
- Pour in 2 tablespoons of butterscotch sauce and stir gently to blend the flavors.
- Add Milk:
- Pour in 1/4 cup of whole milk (or milk substitute) and stir gently.
- Garnish:
- Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce, if desired.
- Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavor.
Notes
For a vegan version, use plant-based milk and vegan butterscotch sauce.
Adjust the sugar and butterscotch sauce to taste.
