Ingredients
Method
- Brew your espresso.
- In a saucepan, combine the milk, cocoa powder, and sugar. Warm on low heat, stirring until the sugar and cocoa dissolve completely.
- Add the brewed espresso to the saucepan and stir well.
- Drop in the mint extract, mixing thoroughly to achieve a well-balanced flavor.
- Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes, keeping an eye on it to avoid boiling.
- Pour the drink into mugs, and optionally top with whipped cream for added richness.
- Enjoy immediately, or store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. You can even freeze it for 1-2 months!
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use unsweetened almond milk as suggested. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to taste. For an extra indulgent treat, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
