  • Zest of 1 fresh orange
  • 1 cup organic milk or almond/oat milk for dairy-free
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Optional: whipped cream and orange slices for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the ingredients:
  • Finely grate the zest of one fresh orange.
  • Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces.
  • Mix and heat:
  • In a saucepan, combine the milk, orange zest, and dark chocolate.
  • Add the vanilla pod and cinnamon stick.
  • Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth.
  • Brew the coffee:
  • Brew one cup of strong coffee using your preferred method.
  • Combine:
  • Pour the chocolate-orange mixture into a mug.
  • Add the brewed coffee, and stir well to combine.
  • Garnish (Optional):
  • Top with whipped cream, and garnish with orange slices.
