Ingredients
  

  • 2 shots of espresso
  • 2 tablespoons of homemade cinnamon dolce syrup
  • 1 cup of milk or a non-dairy alternative
  • Whipped cream optional
  • Cinnamon dolce sprinkles for topping optional
For the Cinnamon Dolce Syrup:
  • 1 ½ cups of water
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Method
 

Make the Cinnamon Dolce Syrup:
  1. Combine water, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Let it cool and store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
Brew the Espresso:
  1. Use an espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker to brew 2 shots of espresso.
Steam the Milk:
  1. Steam 1 cup of milk or a non-dairy alternative until frothy.
Assemble the Latte:
  1. In a mug, combine the brewed espresso with 2 tablespoons of cinnamon dolce syrup.
  2. Pour the steamed milk over the espresso mixture.
  3. Top with whipped cream and cinnamon dolce sprinkles if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust Sweetness: Feel free to adjust the amount of brown sugar to suit your taste preferences.
  • Spice it Up: Add a pinch of nutmeg or a dash of pumpkin spice for an extra layer of flavor.
