Ingredients

  • 1 14-ounce can of coconut cream (chilled overnight)
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener of choice honey, maple syrup, or powdered sugar
  • Ice and brewed coffee cold brew or hot coffee works
  • Optional: toasted coconut flakes for garnish

Method

  1. Place the can of coconut cream in the fridge overnight so the cream solidifies.
  2. Scoop the solid coconut cream into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add your chosen sweetener (or leave it unsweetened for a natural flavor).
  4. Whisk or froth until the coconut cream becomes fluffy and smooth.
  5. Fill a glass with ice and your brewed coffee.
  6. Spoon the whipped coconut cream on top as a thick, creamy foam.
  7. (Optional) Sprinkle with toasted coconut flakes for garnish.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • Chilling the can overnight is key — otherwise the cream won’t whip properly.
  • You can use a hand whisk, handheld frother, or stand mixer depending on the texture you want.
  • Try adding vanilla, cocoa, or matcha powder to flavor your foam.
  • Store leftover coconut cream in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
