  • 2 tablespoons of finely ground coffee espresso grind
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar optional
  • 1/4 cup of steamed milk optional for a classic Gibraltar experience

  1. Heat the Water: Bring water to approximately 200°F (93°C).
  2. Brew the Coffee: Add the coffee grounds to an espresso machine or alternative brewing method. Extract a double shot of espresso (about 2 ounces).
  3. Sweeten (Optional): Stir in sugar if desired.
  4. Steam the Milk (Optional): Froth or steam 1/4 cup of milk until velvety but not overly foamy.
  5. Serve & Enjoy: Pour the espresso into a Gibraltar glass, then slowly add the steamed milk. Serve immediately and savor the rich, bold flavor.
