Ingredients

  • 1-2 shots of freshly brewed espresso
  • 1 cup cold milk whole milk, skim milk, or non-dairy alternative
  • 2 tablespoons caramel syrup
  • Ice cubes

Method

  1. Brew the Espresso: Start by brewing 1-2 shots of espresso using high-quality coffee beans.
  2. Prepare the Glass: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes to keep your drink refreshingly cold.
  3. Add Caramel Syrup: Drizzle 2 tablespoons of caramel syrup over the ice cubes in the glass.
  4. Pour Cold Milk: Slowly pour 1 cup of cold milk over the ice and caramel syrup, leaving a bit of room at the top for the espresso.
  5. Add Espresso: Pour the freshly brewed espresso over the milk and ice. The espresso will float on top, creating a layered effect.
  6. Stir and Serve: Give the drink a gentle stir to mix the layers slightly. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a splash of vanilla syrup.
Chilling the glass in the freezer before use keeps the drink colder for longer.
To prevent the drink from getting watered down, use espresso ice cubes.
