Ingredients

  • 1 shot of espresso or 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup of milk your choice: whole, almond, soy, etc.
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup or 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Whipped cream extra chocolate syrup for drizzling, flavor syrups (like vanilla or caramel)

Method

  1. Brew the Espresso: Start by brewing a shot of espresso using fresh coffee beans. If you don't have an espresso machine, brew strong coffee instead.
  2. Mix Espresso and chocolate. Pour the hot espresso into a glass. Stir in the chocolate syrup until well combined. If using cocoa powder, ensure it fully dissolves.
  3. Add Ice: Fill the glass with ice cubes to cool the espresso-chocolate mixture quickly.
  4. Pour in Milk: Add your preferred milk, filling the glass to the top. Stir gently to blend all the flavors.
  5. Optional Toppings: Top with whipped cream and drizzle extra chocolate syrup or add a splash of your favorite flavor syrup for extra sweetness.

Notes

Customization: Feel free to adjust the chocolate and milk quantities to suit your taste. Add more chocolate for a sweeter treat or more espresso for a stronger kick.
Coffee Ice Cubes: For a stronger coffee flavor, freeze leftover coffee in an ice tray and use these cubes instead of regular ice.
