Ingredients
  

  • 2 shots of ristretto espresso
  • 1 oz Baileys Irish Cream
  • 0.5 oz high-strength rum
  • 0.5 oz sugar syrup

Method
 

  1. Brew 2 shots of ristretto espresso using freshly ground coffee beans.
  2. Layer the Baileys:
  3. In a heatproof glass, pour 1 oz of Baileys Irish Cream as the first layer.
  4. Add the Espresso:
  5. Slowly pour the ristretto espresso over the back of a spoon to create a distinct layer on top of the Baileys.
  6. Add the Rum:
  7. Gently add 0.5 oz of high-strength rum, again pouring it over the back of a spoon to maintain the layers.
  8. Sweeten with Sugar Syrup:
  9. Add 0.5 oz of sugar syrup to the mix, which helps with layering and adds a touch of sweetness.

Notes

Use a steady hand while layering to keep the layers distinct.
Adjust the amount of sugar syrup based on your sweetness preference.
