Method
- Brew 2 shots of ristretto espresso using freshly ground coffee beans.
- Layer the Baileys:
- In a heatproof glass, pour 1 oz of Baileys Irish Cream as the first layer.
- Add the Espresso:
- Slowly pour the ristretto espresso over the back of a spoon to create a distinct layer on top of the Baileys.
- Add the Rum:
- Gently add 0.5 oz of high-strength rum, again pouring it over the back of a spoon to maintain the layers.
- Sweeten with Sugar Syrup:
- Add 0.5 oz of sugar syrup to the mix, which helps with layering and adds a touch of sweetness.
