- 2 shots of ristretto espresso
- 1 oz Baileys Irish Cream
- 0.5 oz high-strength rum
- 0.5 oz sugar syrup
Brew 2 shots of ristretto espresso using freshly ground coffee beans.
Layer the Baileys:
In a heatproof glass, pour 1 oz of Baileys Irish Cream as the first layer.
Add the Espresso:
Slowly pour the ristretto espresso over the back of a spoon to create a distinct layer on top of the Baileys.
Add the Rum:
Gently add 0.5 oz of high-strength rum, again pouring it over the back of a spoon to maintain the layers.
Sweeten with Sugar Syrup:
Add 0.5 oz of sugar syrup to the mix, which helps with layering and adds a touch of sweetness.
Use a steady hand while layering to keep the layers distinct.
Adjust the amount of sugar syrup based on your sweetness preference.
