Ingredients
Method
- Prepare the Cold Brew: Combine 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee with 4 cups of cold, filtered water in a cold brew coffee maker. Stir to ensure all grounds are saturated.
- Steep: Cover and refrigerate for 12-24 hours to allow the coffee to steep and absorb all flavors.
- Strain: After steeping, strain the coffee using a fine mesh sieve or a coffee filter to remove the grounds, resulting in a smooth coffee concentrate.
- Infuse with Nitrogen: Pour the cold brew concentrate into a nitro infuser. Charge the infuser with a nitrogen cartridge according to the manufacturer's instructions. Shake gently to ensure even nitrogen infusion.
- Serve: Pour the nitro-infused coffee into a glass, holding the glass at a 45-degree angle and gradually straightening it as you pour to create a frothy, creamy texture.
Notes
For an extra touch, add a splash of flavored syrup or sprinkle some cinnamon on top.
Store any unused cold brew concentrate in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
