Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups milk or alternative milk
  • 2 servings espresso or 1/4 cup brewed espresso
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 drops peppermint extract
  • Optional: whipped cream and candy cane for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Brew Coffee: Prepare 2 servings of espresso or 1/4 cup of strong brewed coffee.
  • Make Chocolate-Mint Mixture: In a small saucepan, combine 2 cups of milk, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Heat until small bubbles form and the sugar dissolves.
  • Add Flavors: Stir in the brewed coffee, 2 drops of peppermint extract, and a splash of vanilla extract. Remove from heat.
  • Serve: Pour the mixture into a mug. Top with whipped cream and a candy cane if desired.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, substitute milk with almond or soy milk.
  • Adjust the sweetness by using sugar-free sweeteners like stevia or erythritol.
