- Brew the Coffee: Prepare a strong cup of coffee using your preferred method (espresso, French press, or drip coffee).
- Infuse the Saffron: In a small bowl, soak the saffron threads in 1 tablespoon of hot water for 2-3 minutes until the color deepens.
- Froth the Milk: Heat the milk in a saucepan until warm but not boiling, then use a milk frother or whisk to create a creamy foam.
- Combine & Stir: Pour the saffron-infused water into the brewed coffee, then add the frothed milk. Stir gently to mix the flavors.
- Sweeten & Garnish: Add sugar or honey if desired. Optionally, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or saffron threads.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use almond, oat, or coconut milk. Adjust the saffron amount for a milder or stronger flavor. Try adding a pinch of cardamom or nutmeg for extra depth.
