Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons black tea leaves or 1 black tea bag
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup milk evaporated or regular
  • 2-3 teaspoons sugar adjust to taste

Method
 

  1. Brew the Tea: In a saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add black tea leaves and steep for 3-5 minutes until strong. Strain the tea and set it aside.
  2. Prepare the Coffee: Brew 1/2 cup of coffee using your preferred method (espresso, drip, or instant).
  3. Combine Ingredients: In a serving cup, mix the brewed tea and coffee together.
  4. Add Milk and Sugar: Stir in milk and sugar to taste, adjusting for sweetness and creaminess.
  5. Serve Hot or Cold: Enjoy hot or pour over ice for a refreshing iced Yuanyang.

Notes

Use evaporated milk instead of regular milk. Adjust the tea-to-coffee ratio based on preference. Pour over ice cubes and serve chilled.
