Ingredients

  • 2 shots espresso or strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 teaspoon Earl Grey tea leaves
  • 1 oz hot water about 2 tablespoons
  • 1 teaspoon lavender syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 oz milk dairy or non-dairy

Equipment

  • Espresso machine or coffee maker
  • Tea infuser or small strainer
  • Milk frother or steam wand
  • Heatproof cup or mug

Method

  1. Brew Espresso: Prepare 2 shots of espresso and pour into a cup.
  2. Steep the Earl Grey: Add tea leaves to 1 oz of hot water and let steep for 3-5 minutes. Strain to remove leaves.
  3. Mix Flavoring: In a small bowl, combine lavender syrup and vanilla extract.
  4. Froth the Milk: Heat and froth the milk using a milk frother or steam wand until creamy.
  5. Assemble the Drink: Add the Earl Grey tea and lavender-vanilla mix to the espresso. Pour frothed milk on top.
  6. Garnish & Enjoy: Sprinkle dried lavender or a dash of cinnamon for an extra touch.

Notes

Adjust sweetness by increasing or decreasing the lavender syrup. Try oat or almond milk for a dairy-free version. For a stronger tea flavor, steep the Earl Grey leaves longer.
