Ingredients

  • 1 shot of espresso
  • 3/4 cup milk whole or oat milk for creaminess
  • 1 tablespoon caramel syrup plus extra for drizzling
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • Whipped cream optional, for topping

Method

  1. Brew the Espresso: Use an espresso machine to brew one shot of espresso and pour it into a cappuccino cup.
  2. Froth the Milk: Heat and froth 3/4 cup of milk using a steam wand or milk frother until it reaches a smooth microfoam texture.
  3. Combine the Ingredients: Stir 1 tablespoon of caramel syrup and a pinch of sea salt into the espresso.
  4. Pour the Frothed Milk: Slowly pour the frothed milk over the espresso in a circular motion for an even mix.
  5. Add the Final Touches: Top with whipped cream and drizzle extra caramel syrup over the top for a sweet finish.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Savor your homemade Salted Caramel Cappuccino warm and fresh!

Notes

Use two shots of espresso instead of one. Substitute oat, almond, or soy milk for regular milk. Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or chocolate shavings on top.
